Now it is Sooty (19), Ozzy :)rip :cry), Smokey (10), Honey Bee (6) and Archie (9) :love

Welp, Boswell has made arrangements that another kitty that needed help has made it to us.

This is Piggy (Short for Pigpen). Was a neighbors cat, that was tossed outdoors after it stopped being a cute kitten :x

Piggy, is a nut case, and adorable.

Whattaya talking about? Still looks like a cute kitten to me!!

And indeed she is. She earned the nickname pig pen, when she started sleeping in the bushes of our yard. Since then, we started getting her to accept us a bit more by feeding her outside, and leaving her treats. Since the cold weather, we've been letting her inside. That's been working out well. I'm not 100% sure if she is litter box trained, but she sure is outdoor trained. At night she wants out for about an hour, then hops onto the ledge next to our bedroom window. That's our cue to let her back in.

She really is an awesome cat.

After our "rescue" of boswell, and his passing. It really is my belief that he is above watching over. Shedding light to wayward cats in need, that our porch is open to them. :)

Damnit, sorry man. You had just posted about her.
That sucks. Did you have to put her down or did she just pass?
If you don't mind sharing.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

...long may you run

This is my feral, the dog's cat. TomTom is getting used to eating and sleeping indoors.

21 is a hell of a run!

It's been a few years now but the wife and I lost our "Gus" kat. We're not 100% of his exact age but he was AT LEAST 23 when we had to put him down after he started suffering from some mini strokes. We could tell he was miserable.

Sorry you're having to face this loss. It's never easy, even when you prepare for it.

thanks everyone for your kind words.

kitty had the bestest and longest life a little kitty could ever have.

her name was literally kitty i named her at a very young age and wouldn't have had it any other way or picked any other name to this day.
