Post your pictures from "back in the day" here. Old photos/articles only.

I know it's not ancient but it's 1991 at Tomales in Marin County. I've got my FZR400 and my riding mentors had the CBR600F2 and BMW R100GS (?).

This was when I started doing the SMR (Sunday Morning Ride) starting at 730am at Tam's Junction.

Anyone still do this ride?

cool pics, thanks for bumping the thread! :thumbup

did the SMR a couple years ago with two wheel tramp on my ‘73 Triumph Tiger and had fun ... get the impression from twt that the SMR is still going strong, think she’s a regular recent participant:

... I was not the only vintage bike to show up at 7 am at the Starbucks in
Tam Junction ... Gil had just finished the Moto Melee on this '74 Suzuki Titan
... he was riding it two-up with his teenage daughter ... :ride

... the '73 Tiger at the equally famous "smoke break" on Hwy 1.

need to get up and make another SMR, someday ... :party

Two buddies and I rode from Dixon to the top of Mt. Diablo. Good times.

awesome Yale pic of the grandparents ...

did you do Baja when you took the CB350 to Mexico, or the mainland ...?
would’ve loved to have seen Mexico back in the day ... :party

Baja, just down to San Felipe area. Lots of desolate desert, long ways between gas stops, strapping spam behind the cylinders for a hot lunch, Spam and Bimbo bread for dinner, yum! :laughing

Yes, some seriously awesome stuff here. Call me impressed.:thumbup

I've got a few photos from years past. This first one is of a side car rig that made a number of appearances at Seca through the years when they ran side car races. The head was part of the bike and it was raced as you see it.

This photo is of one of my brothers at workers camp after the events of Saturday. The beer flowed freely. And I have no idea who the guy on the left is. Perhaps one of you knows who it is. He was working with the regular corner workers. Me and two of my brothers were with the National Motorcycle Patrol back then, hence the blue shirts.

This next photo is of me and my brother, taking a break between races up at the corkscrew. We were both with the National Motorcycle Patrol. I'm on the right.
