QUasi: Your SV turned out NICE! R1 calipers!? :wow

Yep. (I think I saw you bidding on some R1 calipers a few months ago, and it did cross my mind to try and outbid you. ;))

I don't ride her as much as I should, although she did come in handy over the last few trackdays while the racebike was out of commission.

Blingage:

- 04-05 GSXR 600/750 front end
- 03 GSXR 1000 front master cylinder
- 04-05 R1 front calipers (much lighter than GSXR calipers, Zoran wasn't joking)
- EBC ProLite 320mm front rotors (for 00-03 GSXR 750), to accomodate the larger R1 calipers
- Penske double-adjustable shock
- CBR600F3 (5") wheel
- Galfer rear wave rotor made for a Honda Transalp (only rotor that was a perfect match for both the F3 bolt pattern AND the SV caliper)
- M4 exhaust
- Rejetted carbs; 03 SV intake cams
- Lockhart Phillips round headlight & brackets
- Puig windscreen
- Woodcraft rearsets
- GP Composites tail (dremeled to accomodate stock taillight, which was slightly relocated)
- CRG levers and mirrors
- MyChron3 Gold gauge/data acquisition (to tell me how slow I am :laughing), which replaces the Veypor I just sold to drizz.

...And all the requisite random bits from Zoran for the front-end and caliper transplants.

I actually have a Duc 748 radiator that I was going to put in, but the resulting ugly re-routing of coolant hoses would have offset any aesthetic bling the curved, silver 748 radiator would have provided.

Are the 06 SV1Ks out yet? Let's see some gray ones!

It took so long for the 2005s to show up, there might not be any 06s till June.

And for the record, it's not gray, it's Sonic Silver :x

The silver ones are faster anyway! :laughing

Your "Sonic Silver" is definitely a nice color, but since they don't have that color for 06, I'll have to settle for the gunmetal gray.
