I keep thinking about a full fairing kit and custom paint, but I wonder if I should just get another bike (I4) to fill that need. Definitely not getting rid of the SV though, such an awesome ride

Quassi that is one sick Sv. was that yours? i ran into that picture a year back and had it as my screen saver for a while. there's nothing like dual high mounts and low profile mirrors for a nekid bike. my kind of streetfighter. when i get my 2003 sv, i'm definitely gonna ask you where you got the mirrors, seat cowl, and exhaust from. how much did you get rid of her for and do you still keep in touch with the owner of it now? maybe i can trade my gxxr400 for it.

I sold it for $4000. It had about 7k miles on it. I do keep in touch with the current owner, because he's a friend.
He hasn't put many miles on it over the course of the past year. Rumor has it he's thinking of selling it. If you want it, though, you may have to get in line -- I'm thinking of buying it back! LOL.

That's a Buell M2 fairing. You could get it in Carbon Fiber from Buell, Trojan Horse, American Sport Bike and a few other places.

9. 520 chain conversion
10. front sprocket 1 tooth down
11. rear sprocket 2 teeth up
12. GSX-R pegs (is that even a mod?)
