Pressure Washer

Im surprised that dude is able to keep any customers after all the times hes called them idiots. They must not have watched his videos yet.

Yea, it was a bit off-putting.

I agree, you can buy the thing on Amazon and it's also sold rebranded under the CAT name.

That being said, people will put up with some sh*t for a great product. Is a few fittings and hoses worth $500. That I'm not so sure of but I haven't tried to price that stuff individually.

Bought this little guy from Home Depot solely for washing dirt bikes. Works great, small, light, easy to store in the garage and set up, and no gas motor to maintain.

After about two years of use the pump started to act up. Brought it back and they just swapped it out with a new one off the shelf no questions asked. But for $100, I would just buy a new one every few years anyway.

I don't know if this is a good pressure washer for general use. I don't clean my patio furniture, driveway, or house siding. Just wash bikes.

For a foam cannon to work correctly, it's recommended to get at least a 1.6gpm machine.

I also want gas so if I need to clean a fence or around the house or take it with me to clean blood stains off a stolen car I'd be able to.

I was thinking about going electric but not sure it has enough power to do the house. I had an old gas but I fucked up and put ethanol gas in it and so I killed it. So just like every other small gas engine tool I have it will have to get non-ethanol gas put in it to extend its life. At least it is easy to get down here we have like 4 gas stations in town that sell it.

I will probably get one from Sams Club as I get an extra 2 years if I buy an extended warranty and they usually have a honda powered one.

So wound up buying this a few days ago

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NRYDV97/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

pretty happy with it, but it's spendy. My ryobi gun took a sh*t and split at the seam (i think i mentioned that earlier). Motor kept running so i thought it was possibly not building enough pressure to turn off. Was correct about that so the POS ryobi is back in service. Hoses and gun costs more than the damn pressure washer :laughing

i do recommend tho for anyone looking to upgrade their current system. COmes with all fittings and everything you need. Tres bien

Let me get this straight...you spent 349$ on a hose and a couple of spray guns?

Im almost ready to pull the trigger on a gasser honda motor unit. None in stock anywhere near me so gotta order it.

I got this one works great as an electric one for household needs and when you don't need super strong pressure (though with the needle spray it will strip paint no doubt).

Only $150

Got the same one + foam cannon for another $30. Works fine for a regular quick wash. Added a $50 leafblower for air drying and some waffle weave microfiber cloths for the windows. < $250 all total.

My car isn't a garage queen though and gets driven a lot so I'm not as worried about a complete "professional detail" level of sparkle every time I wash it.

yes, id do it again too

Could not agree more, quality accessories make using a pressure washer such a better experience.

I picked up this Karcher K1700 along with the basic upgrade kit. Main use case is washing vehicles, where GPM is more important than max PSI. Does have enough power to clean our deck and front walkway.

Upgraded sprayer and wand extension feel very well built. The stainless quick connects fit together perfectly and give a satisfying engagement. Supplied rubber hoses are a massive upgrade over the stiff plastic versions.

Was able to reuse the stock parts from the washer to get a beat up Craftsman unit back up and running.

…The owner of OG comes off as a bit of an asshole... He has strong opinions on what "the right way" to do something is, can rub people the wrong way. Nothing but respect for him focusing his OCD and turning his passion into a business, dude has next level work ethics.

He's the reason I bought what I bought. He's also the reason I didn't buy from him directly :laughing . His videos are informative, but I question the customer service with his attitude.

A similar package that I got was marked up about $200 on his website iirc so his attitude probably wouldn't have changed where I purchased the accessories from honestly.

So far so good. The only thing I dislike is how obviously underwhelming my actual pressure washer is now that I can't blame all the other little annoying pos accessories that came with it. Been spending enough money lately so probably rock it a bit longer :laughing
