Who knew ? All I had to do was take off the windscreen and loosen the brake fluid reservoir
The seat brackets are perfect for hooking tiedowns to. I'm a track day fool this year !

Sup chefbru.. I always wondered how it looked in there. This is Robert from the garage. Nice to see you on here.

wow! damn tight fit! i wonder if my 600rr fits in my eclipse... its a hatch so might fit ;)

ill try tom ;)

BTW, makes me want to have an element :p

very impressive.....necessity is the mother of creativity, right?

one question, how are you going to get the rear wheel over that lip when removing the bike? that looks like it'll be a bitch when you're bent in half inside the box.......or maybe you can do it from the outside if you have the leverage......?

I saw you do that once at a trackday. Since then I've mentioned it to anyone I know when I see an Element. :)

You are looking at the closed lower rear door. The hatch lifts up, and the lower part folds down.

If your going to try, put the passenger seat all the way forward. Roll the bike in and slide the rear wheel across to the drivers side. I use these mega furniture sliders under the rear wheel -it's a big help. Last, I put the tailgate up and tighten the tie-downs so the bike is pushing against the tailgate. as you can see in the photo you get pretty good leverage. I'm sure there are other bikes that will fit too. 35 mpg on the freeway dosen't hurt either.

That is AWESOME!!!!!!

I now like the Element!!!!!

I've been looking at small wagons to replace my VERY old '85 Toyota Celica GT Hatchback.

Whoa!... Nice job chefbru! Have fun hauling it to the track. Be safe.

i'm still trying to get over the fact of a guy driving an element ;-) j/k1!!11!!!
