Recommendation for avoiding front tire rising off pavement on 2017 kawasaki versys LT?

I once rode my bike down to Corbin and they allowed me to cut, shape, and test ride the new foam on my seat. After I’d OK’d the rubber, they sewed up a new cover for it. I was very happy with the result.

I could hop on a supercharged ‘Busa or a formula 1 bike and not pull a wheelie. It’s all in the right wrist.

I've owned a 2015 Versys 1000LT since 2017 and I've never wheelied it, accidentally or otherwise. The 650 is lighter and probably a bit more prone to throttle blippiness, since it's a twin rather than an inline-4, but I wouldn't think they're anything other than 'normal'...

@cozy congrats on getting the Versys BTW!
Thanks. I changed the oil and filter, as the oil was rather dark black. Dont know if the previous owner who had it for 2 years ever changed it. And am scheduled to have a shop replace the chain, sprockets and both tires as they are all in need of replacing.

You won't see him here again until he has another pressing question, such as how does one remedy uneven handgrip wear.
The stupid, insulting comment is immature and unneeded.
Yes, I generally only visit this site when I have a specific question. As I have many other things in my life that I focus on other than posting and reading lots of barf pages.

lighten up, francis.

I’m sure gixxerjeff’s comment was made in fun. As far as I know, he’s a stand up guy.

And your original question was mostly silly. Hell, I could get on a MotoGP bike and have no problem not pulling a wheelie.

I think this is a thread title of the year nominee...is that a thing?

Same...from a skill point of view.
From a self-control point of view??
That's a separate problem. :laughing

I can recommend the Versys|1000 site for good V1K-specific stuff - I've posted questions and responded to posts in there many times...

Nothing to ad to the thread. However, to senpai71 the snow works perfect in your avatar...:rofl
