Registration is Live! First Annual BARF Midsummer Magic Rally, Weaverville Edition, July 22-24, 2016

:laughing

You guys are too funny.

I can't wait to post routes in the rally forum . I was at forks of the salmon. It's totally doable from Weaverville and omg :leghump

There was a thread back in February posting a picture of the section of route 3 that got washed out from the storm north of Weaverville. Can't seem to find it. Wanted to do that last week but we had to bypass it

It's passable now and may even be paved by the time the rally goes through there.

I'm IN! 49er has no more rooms left when I called today, so had to go with option 2. Checking in 7/22, not sure if I'm taking the entire Fri off or after 4pm-ish and arrive late at night. Looking forward to the Weeeeeaverville ride! :ride

Mario... it's a solid ten hour day getting up there. Take the day off. You're welcome to squeeze into my room.

So, ummmm, we are only 6 weeks out from the rally and I still don't see the rally forum. Am I not looking in the right place? :dunno

May 30th it was said to be filled, with some traffic control still happening as they put up guard rails. I assume by late July it'll be open without restrictions. The picture is an aerial view with the fill done.

We're working on it. Your patience is appreciated. This is my first time setting up a rally. Thanks.

I guess it would have helped to Google where Weaverville is... I thought it was a couple of hours ride north of SF! I think I can make it work, I'll have to see how much people at work are going to freak out if I take a Friday off... I hate working in Silicon Valley...

Actually, take Friday and Monday off... :teeth I've taken Thursday-Monday off in case of shenanigans. Which are highly likely.

With a little luck, I'll be riding on that road this weekend. I'll post a quick report. :ride

Eventzilla'd!

Did Bald Hills Road from Orick to 299 all the way to Redding yesterday and today - lots of construction going on all over 299 that will not be done by the rally. Would be more fun for the folks to do 32 to Hayfork to Weaverville if coming in from the Southeast.

By the way, first time across the asphalted Bald Hills - sweet road, actually, incredible!
