OK, I got a barend mirror, it is supposed to be installed inside the end of the clip-on, I remove the weight...but I can not get the internal weight out of the bar...any ideas on how to get it out??

I can get #4 and #5 off no problem...its #3 thats stuck!

don't remove it. instead ditch the rubber spacer that came with the barend mirror & nut and use either screw to attach the mirror. i took those weights out of my f2 and it was a total pain in the ass and the bars vibrated way more. i ended up putting them back in.

just noticed the part is a lot shorter on your yamaha, might not be as big a deal.

I don't think it's an internal weight.I think it's just a tread fitting.

if 3 is rubber you dont remove 5.you just loosen it and than pull whole thing out.
little spray of contact cleaner does wonders :)

If #3 is metal, stick a telescoping pencil magnet or long screw driver with a magnet tip inside the bar to draw it out. If the part works its way deeper into the bar, maybe somebody can offer a spare one to you.

put the end back on and only tighten it a tad bit. then pull the whole thing out in one piece. the idea is not to loosen it tool much, just enought to pull it out.
