Let me be the first to say "haha!" I brought it up at the inception of that rep system on how's it's been an epic failure on the other boards I've been part of and it's better to just not go down this road at all. That led to people giving me negative rep! In the end, I win.

Absolutely. A lot of us were skeptical and figured it might eventually turn out to be useless and/or a pain in the ass. A majority of us still wanted to give it a shot, though.

So

1) limit rep to moto-only forums
2) do not allow users to post comments where they can use the rep casting as a way to kiss ass, clown, or build each other's rep.... or othwise post whore rep.
3) Assign a value to rep such as
a) this post made a significant contribution
b) this post is post-whore behavior
4) Assign "Valued Contibutor" to users who score positive rep based on moto related contribution
5) Assign "Known Post Whore" to users who get rep based on "post whore" behavior in moto related forums. (This will keep the post whores out of the moto related forums)


Most of us here in the sink would likely have the "known post whore" title though :p But that would just make us suspect in other forums.... I guess the problem is to know who the retards are from the fucktards from the tards from the cool ass mods :p
