RIP 5/22 Nicky has passed (was: Nicky Hayden seriously injured)

It's so dusty in here, got some in my eye...

:thumbup

very nice...who was the writer?

Tldr:

Up and coming spanish gp journalist, 1st person to interview hayden in the spotlight instead flowing with the rossi train,

The usa flag was a present from 25k spanish spectators.

The jounalists daughter had a huge crush on hayden which stirred up the memories.

The flag was carried around to every gp that year being shown to hayden and believing he can win the ship.

The flag has a stolen broomstick taped to it on day of gp ship victory

the tldr doesnt do the story justice as it's written. I would recommend anyone else to actually read it.

Great story

I'm glad I don't do that TLDR stuff.
Truly a great story.:thumbup
Nicky was a humble man, and the lengths he went to give back time to those who thought a lot of him.
Marcelo and Sara were blessed.:teeth

Was going through some old archive CD's and found these from the 2005 MotoGP at Laguna Seca and felt this the best place to put them.

RIP Nickey!

I got misty, when I saw this bump. Decent dude. He had a full life. But he was awfully young. He missed out on all the getting old crap. :(

Since i visit Laguna Seca at least 10 times a year.. some spectator some as a driver I get used to seeing this exiting turn 10.
This isnt my car but I do see this while in mine.
Time to widen the camera angle in my car.
You are missed Nicky! :rose
