Im just gonna go ahead and skip the forthcoming jokes about dietary protein intake (kwashiorkor isn't a thing here, anyway) and say it was probably cocaine or methamphetamine.

Very sad. Regardless of your position on the industry, sex workers are human beings too, and outside of their jobs they really are regular people like all of us here. I feel terribly sad that drug addiction has claimed another life, but I am even sadder that some folks who are probably fans of her work will at the same time brush this off as inevitable instead of seeing this as a consequence of the sad social situation of many workers in the industry.

If any of y'all have friends in the industry, you'll know how rampant drug addiction is and the pain it causes. Drugs don't play, they just hijack your brain and keep hurting until there's nothing left for them to take.
 
I always felt bad for girls that got into porn at a young age, figuring most would end up with a lifetime of regret. Maybe some do but I doubt many look back in later years and are happy with that decision.
Not surprised if drug use is common.
