ROLL CALL JULY 19th THILL ZZ

Anybody cancelling the Road Riding 2.0 class? There's a 4 person waitlist already, so I need 5 peeps to step up and cancel so I can get in :twofinger


I'm gonna do a search in a sec, but what do people think of Z2 novice classes? Other levels?

Seems like one of the most affordable schools.
 
I'm not sure what Road Rider 2.0 classes are, but if you're fairly proficient in the twisties, I don't think a novice class would be over your head.

I did Z2's Novice school at RFR and it was good at helping layout the track for us and tell us basic lines for entering and exiting specific turns.
The key for me that day though was grabbing an instructor and having a 1 on 1 all day long to have someone watch me ride and critique what stuff I needed to work on the most to take my riding to the next level. That was the best thing about the Z2 day was just the sheer number of instructors (guest or employed) that were there to help people.

I look forward to working with them again when I go to T-Hill hopefully on the 20th.
 
first timer

I am heading out to thill for my first track day experience, I am stoked but have no idea about prep, trying to gather all essentials but still dont have any way of getting the bike to the track. I do not have a truck and my VW Golf probably cant handle a tow. any ideas? I am willing to split the gas cost for a ride

Well I'm wait listed for the 20th, if I make it I'm always looking for passengers to share fuel.

Which days are you going? I have room left in my truck for 1 or 2 more riders. I can fit 2 in the bed, and egrep has two in on the trailer.

Let me know if you are interested.
 
I am listed for the 19th, and thinking of heading out there the day before if possible, still wait listed for the 20th myself, I might see you there
 
We are headed up Friday and most likely driving back on Sunday.

A few of us are doing a pretrack tech day at my place. Just to do stuff ahead of time. Liquids/Lights/Chain/etc...

We are going for both RR and Novice on Sunday.
 
I find it interesting this trackday is already filling up when it is MotoGP weekend in Laguna Seca. Maybe I will have to commit early.
 
I will be there! :thumbup First track day/ track experience. Glad Johnny and Ariel decided to go too. Are you guys staying Saturday night or heading back to SF? Hell if you're already up there you may as well do a second day..

Well, see.. me.. Jon (egrep), Eron friend (sorry, forgot his name). that is three... had one person here that might join in...

I could have room for one more, but I will have no room for the bike. Right now I have my bed which will hold 2 bikes, plus the trailer which will hold 2.

Man, this is looking to be a nice full ride up with yours and my truck.
 
Cesar, Alex! Did you guys add me and ariel and our bike to your roster? We're hoping to you guys can take our bikes up there!

Also, Alex when are you guys having the tech day at your place? I think Ariel and I would go.

Well, if you two go, along with the one we lost, and the one we might gain.. that may fill us up. Cesar.... we need to do a head count to make sure we have enough room.

As for the garage day, PM me or Cesar as we have an email list going about this trackday... but, as for the date, its on the 13th of this month. Not this weekend, but next one.

I rode at the track lasy year on MotoGP weekend. I would so much rather have the time of my life on the track instead dealing with the chaos of MotoGP. Laguna is not that fan friendly of a track, much better to ride then to spectate.
 
Does ZZ still have the barf discount? It's been a while since i've signed up but i remember last year they had a barf discount..

Yo, im trying to get a head count. I have 5 in my truck, 2 bikes in the bed and 3 in a 12x6 trailer. I think I can fit 5 bikes in the trailer?

Add Ariel and I, and 2 more bikes to the roster, we've placed our payment.. so we're almost a near certain! We're heading up with you guys.. and if not the people, just fit out bikes! Ariel may be willing to drive.
 
man sounds like a killer day wish I could make it but to close to tomarows date for me...or maybe not we will see!!!
