From the article:
Honda Joins the Hyper 250 War!
Expected price: ~ 6000 USD (Calculated at roughly 100y = dollar)
Expected date: Spring of 2009.
With the unexpected smash hit of the 250 supersport in Kawasaki's Ninja 250, we reported on Yamaha's development of its YZF 250 only last month. Of course, Honda isn't just about to be left out. We've heard reports of the company developing a new VTR Super Sport based on its VTR 250.
... Middle Stuff (Too tired to really translate all of it. sorry)
...With the unexpected hit of the Ninja 250 in Europe and America, it is no wonder that Honda is prepared to build a new bike with a world wide strategy in mind...
We've constructed a 3D artist's rendition of what this VTR super sports may look like.
So it seems that we might have a larger selection of 250 sports bikes. But honestly? I don't care. I'd rather have a plain old VTR250 for light sports touring. A more practical bike, with some relaxed ergos. Still, an interesting development, given the amazing prices over MSRP we're seeing on the Ninjas this summer.
