S.F. Road Rage

heard about this last night and just dropped my kid off at his latchkey program and found out that i know the dude and my son goes to school with the daughter. he didn't even do anything, he was backing up and the motherfuckers shot him and his two sons.

3rd road rage murder in the city in the past month/month and a half, children were in all three vehicles.

anyway, be careful out there.

my son also played baseball for him a couple of summers ago and played against his st. phillips basketball team last season. but, i didn't really know him that well.

what really bugs me is all of these incidents have happened with children in the car, no fucking respect, no fucking sense of decency. one guy was killed a couple of months ago and his car just rolled into the bushes off 280 with his two sons strapped into their car seats.

The Excelsior District borders Mission St. It's between the 280 freeway and Geneva Ave. I never knew as a kid, growing up in the Outer Mission/Top of the Hill area, what street made its eastern boundary. But when riding the Mission St. bus and reaching the Silver Ave. stop, I always thought, Excelsior! There used to be signs on some businesses along that part of Mission St. that said Excelsior This and Excelsior That.
