You mean the PI with the blurry round thing that's probably the A/C compressor?

lol, no that was my nitrous system :thumbup

EDIT: 2nd & Parker in Rodeo.
there was a stabbing tonite 5 minutes before I left, blood everywhere.
I didn't even know it was a stabbing 'til like 10 minutes later when a chick walked in and casually said: "hey, someone got shanked outside.
He had also gotten stabbed in the ass on the dance floor, but didn't tell anyone, uh, hello, I have a gun, I'm there to help protect you.
and he had gotten stabbed 4 more times in the abdomen on the sidewalk.
then after the cops got there helicopters went up, and the stabbed guys's buddy wennt around the corner, came back a few minutes later and he had a stab wounde on his right chest.
All this over a guy dancin with a chick, average looking at best, that didn't even know either guy... I thought it was bro's before whoe's?
well, this is a Mexican bar, so whatever that reads in Mexican talk.

ANYWAY, I'll post pics of the scoot when I'm alll done adding the superchargers, yes, that's plural, more than 1

so when your car shifts does it have like a blow off?

or do you hear or feel any boost while your driving??

i mean we all saw the pic of the car and its nice and whatever but it definatly DOES NOT have a turbo.......

I have a gas powered one if you want to buy it. Disc brake,big air tires,adjustable coil-over suspension front and rear,57cc 2stroke motor,race pipe w/expansion chamber,race carb,velocity stack,ign. advancer, high flow air cleaner,dual gas tanks and larger spindle for MOAR top speed. It will do about 50 with a 200lb rider. I crashed it and broke my elbow so I don't want to ride it anymore. About 3hrs on the motor.

I was gonna post and try to explain about power, speed, volts and watts, but instead, all I can manage is:

:facepalm

... uh, hello, I have a gun, I'm there to help protect you.

You carry a gun as a bouncer? :wtf You must be one hell of a bouncer to let all this stabbing go on under your watch :x

Btw..you don't need someone that knows MOTORS, you need someone with an Electronics/Electrician background (as you found out).

I have a standup scooter, it has a 24 volt 250 watt motor.
If I buy a higher wattage motor i.e. 500 or 1000 watt motor, as long as it is 24 volt DC, it should still work, right?

ok, enough of the Tomfoolery.

Power equals voltage times current or P=VI

You want to up the power, which will change the amount of current you draw from the battery.

So right now you have a 24 volt battery with a 250W motor. The current draw at full output should be something like this:

P=VI
P/V=I
250W/24V = 10.4Amps

I assume this scooter is made in China, so it would be a safe bet to assume the components are only rated for about 12Amps at the most.

If you up the power to 500W you will get this:
P=VI
P/V=I
500W/24V = 20.8Amps

Or 1000W will yield this:
P=VI
P/V=I
1000W/24V = 41.7Amps

Long story short, even if you battery could provide that kind of current (look at the Amp-hour rating of the battery at the specified amperage) you'll melt the wires or damage the control circuitry, which is most likely designed for a specific current range to function properly anyhow.

Bottom line is you'll ruin your scooter. :twofinger

The only guns you carry at a night club are the ones you have tattooed on your arms. You say you work in HVAC yet a very simple DC principle escapes you? Best case you melt something and it quits, worse case you start a fire.

If you made $70k a year why would you risk that income making $20 an hour as a bouncer? What ever....
