Rossi is over 2-1/2 seconds off the pace! :wow

That track must be just a mess for there to be such a spread in the lap times!

This may be de Puniet's time for a Pole position, though he won't stand a chance in the race.

Seems like the mixed weather situation may have added to the difference in lap times.. and a green track according to the article on SBP.

Wet races are always a little more of a shake up.. an equalizer and a surpriser..

Should be a good show.

:smoking

What surprise? Roberts still at the back.
Seriously, KRJr should be on the seat since he's good in the wet.

A bunch more images at the usual joint.

Puttin' the rubber down...

The fairing differences alone between Vermulen's (#71) '07 bike and Aoki's (#9) '08 prototype GSVR are interesting...

Looks like Nicky is doing well again.

Nicky's time was definitely done on a Q, as he was languishing mid-pack until his last session right at the end. But yes, it certainly looks better than the rest of the practices...

QP is now Live, and with video if you have a MotoGP.com subscription. The weather looks dry...

If you don't, you can still watch live timing and scoring by going to http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/index.htm and clicking on the green Live Timing button near the upper right corner.

w00t!
