Shops that make custom back patches

Patches, signs, insignia ? I 'get' the emotion and proclamation of position, even the sardonic humor but in this brave new world I prefer to slide by unnoticed and unmolested as I go about my personal life.

Your needs may be different. Good luck with random encounters out there.

Here you go.

Apaches was our company's radio call sign, as we were A (Alpha) company.

That’s really cool company insignia, think it’ll make a wonderful patch! :thumbup

used these guys to make this patch from a t-shirt design:

Sporting my new Johnson's Leathers SOA-style life-member
SFMC vest with bonus BARF AMA O/MC patch ...

been wearing a mom-n-pop AMA club patch for 23 years in and around San Francisco and California, to Alaska and Baja and to the East Coast, never had a problem ...

guess no one cares what a KLR rider wares ... :laughing 🥳

That's his unit insig.
Wear it with pride and thanks for your service.
If I saw you wearing it, I'd buy you a beer.

It’s hilarious how big tough motorcycle gangs are butthurt by one guy “disrespecting” them with a patch

The shooting threat isn't part of the insignia. It was a warning on pretty much all military and transport vehicles in the sandbox.

I felt it was a little aggressive for a casual rider but figured I might be in the minority.

Thanks. I might use the one without the text on it, as it could be considered threatening and given how snowflake filled our society is....I don't want to be annoyed by other people's inability to think.

Sweet patches!!! :thumbup

Do they have a website??? I did a search for "Anderson Enterprises" and all I got was stock options and a place in MI.

I say go for it. It's been over 40 years since I served and I knew what it meant. I'm sure anyone who served anywhere in the Middle East will know, appreciate and get a chuckle out of it. Those are the folks you'll wear it for. Fuq the snowflakes.

guess he’s old-school, found him in a woodworking newsletter from 11/2018, but no website ... used his AOL e-mail with my patch ... :laughing

here’s his Twitter:
https://mobile.twitter.com/pinz711

ordered 10 big patches for $550 ... had a digital art file ...

call it my “bird poo” patch since that’s what it looks like from further that 10 feet ... our tattoo artist member Barnaby designed it, close as I’ll ever get to my own tattoo ... :toothless

have fun with your patch project, looks super fun ... :ride

As a non military pleb, if I saw that logo and text on an MC jacket (without any additional military reference), I would have no idea it was a military insignia and would think it was an overtly threatening MC club patch..

If it said "US Army" or a reference to the army, then it would be clear .

Just 2 cents from an outside observer

Here is a pic of the front of the vest I want to put the patch on. It's covered in patches about the military. It even has a Combat Infantryman's Badge and a rifle qualification badge.

Ahhh makes more sense now.:thumbup
I can see how the snowflakes could get offended by the mere hint of shooting.
Might want to add the US Army as an added measure.
Certainly nothing wrong with the logo.
The vest done as you have it makes one see it for what it is, and not a MC club, which certainly would draw attention.
Whammy says make the patch, wear it proudly.
Whammy is also a veteran of the Army and understands your pride!:thumbup:teeth:ride

Here's the patch I made for the back of the vest I wear for PGR missions...it was a ton of work, and took forever to stitch out on an old embroidery machine.

It's hilarious how some of you are fearful enough of big bad MCs to hand out unsolicited warnings about getting your ass kicked by patched bikers as if that's an everyday occurrence, but simultaneously bemoan the terrible, terrible influence of "snowflakes" on society. That schtick is more than a little tired at this point.

I'm neither a snowflake nor afraid of bikers, but "stay back or you might get shot" seems likely to be misinterpreted by many, whether they be snowflakes or tough guys in brodozers looking for some shit. Sure, if they see both sides of the vest it becomes clearer, and adding "it's ok, this is about the military" somehow may help—but an asshole driver having a bad day (more of a material danger than scary bikers, assuming one actually rides) may take it as an invitation to mess with you.

But I'm more chuckling at the oh-so-enlightened commentary than your potential patch. Carry on. :laughing

life is so strange ... I have arabic-speaking nieces and nephews in Morocco ... fun to look at their school workbooks and watch them write right-to-left and book-backwards in that cool script ...

I'd be tempted to have only the arabic "keep-back" patch, maybe smaller ... that would be a bit low-profile, perhaps some vets would recognize it, and there may be all sorts of opportunities for comic misunderstandings from folks who can't read it ... :laughing 🥳

sometime fun interactions with peeps far from California with just "San Francisco" on my vest ...
people draw all sorts of interesting conclusions ... :toothless

:laughing I bet. I know you go pretty far and wide in your travels. :thumbup

I have a small patch on the front of one of my 'Stiches that has a pothole and a cone and "Oakland." Just that gets me all kinds of commentary, depending on where I am. :laughing

I like your idea. :thumbup

I thought the biker clubs sell themselves as being patriotic? (Saw it on gangland TV show :) ) I was kinda under the impression a vet would be the last guy they would mess with?
