single sided swingarm on a R6

I'm wondering the same thing...if handling is affected at all...possibly at extreme (or harsh) lean angles (when safety and reliability in design) is most important????

you can tell the wheelbase if off by looking at the gap between the front section of the rear tire and the frame. look at the r1 and you can see the tire sits closer. that thing is going to turn much slower like that. it wil be good for launching as long as the clutch can hang. it would look better if it was blinged like the r1.

i don't like the actual swing arm. the construction is so....homemade looking. it's like i take a few pipes chrome it, and bend it into shape....a cruiser styling on a sportbike= no

on the other hand if he made it more substantial like this magnesium one

then it'd get the thumbs up.

i can't exactly describe why i don't like it, but it def. has to do with the actual design of that swing arm. needs more substance....

everything spondon and harris make frames/swingarms is tubular in construction. this is a harris frame swingarm. I mysellf like the RAM stuff. some of the steetfighter stuff is kewl.
