Wed sounds good for me. I still keep my bike up in Benicia, but I am coming down more often to SJ. So, I will try to hang with you fellas on the 12th. Sorry I have been lost for a little while but with the USAF it is tough to keep a schedule and not to mention trying to keep my Spanish Señorita happy :blush

Has anyone thought about meeting at the Super Taqueria on 10th and Williams? they got the best super burritos...yum yum
 
last wed. i parked by a red 600rr and when i came back to get water i saw a parking ticket on his seat. anyone know why??? she was parked on white like but there were other bikes parked there only he got it.

Yeah thats pretty lame. Either they didn't have a permit or the people giving the ticket felt like being jerks. I parked my car on 10th st one time by the Bike spots near the Business building and they gave me a ticket for my rear bumper barely hovering over the first white line... AND decided to give me a second ticket for not having my front license plate. Uber bastard! One of the things I don't miss about going to SJSU :x

According to Henley, a semester parking permit for a motorcycle is $40. That's about $5 more than the average parking ticket, plus there's some peace of mind that you won't get squeezed in on the street. There's also parking available all the time in the garages on campus, another incentive to spend just a little bit of money.

My vote for the first meet is Cluck U. If you want alcohol, they have it.
 
no deals on weds though *for wings*...you sure a college student can afford it? :p

It exists. It's just not listed this year on the Parking Services site. It was last year. Just go over there and ask. And if you buy a car parking permit, you can attach your motorcycle's plates to the permit for free. In either case, you just have to register your bike with Parking Services. They just take pictures of your bike and register it in their database. I paid $300+ for my car for the whole year.
 
any chance of moving the first meet up a week? sept 15-16 is the last ama superbike and formula extreme race at laguna seca, and im an umbrella girl that week so i might have to be at the track wed-sun, if i dont have to be there wed then ill be at the meet at like 8, how long do you fellas expect to sick around?

:p its only the first meet...theres more to come and if enough folks go to it, we'll make it consistant like last year...meet every week....

its my first time doing it so i dont have pics of me as an umbrella girl, but there will be plenty when i get back from laguna

Yeah I could've sworn there was permit parking for bikes too and 3 BILLS? When I started at SJSU car parking was 90 bucks/semester and that was before their Parking Nazis now. I thought that was alot but half the time I got away without having one. No chances of that now. And an umbrella girl? Whats this? haha j/k Crash, good luck with that :D
