Skate Coach Needed

This whole thread has gone FAIL!! It makes me wanna :barf

It is a thread about SKATEBOARDS not roller skates!! GET OUTA HERE YOU ROLLER SKATING THREAD JACKERS!!!:twofinger:twofinger:twofinger

To get this thread back on track, I want to post a question about the current skateboard equipment. I am considering getting a new board, and don't recognize the manufacturers anymore. Who makes good bearings (I know Swiss are hi dollar, but are they worth it?), are Independent still good trucks, what wheels are good for concrete parks and some street skating, etc?

boards are more dependent on what kinda shape you feel comfortable on.
7.87 or 8.5 is good for all terrain, (street and park)

i like deluxe, (krooked, anti-hero, and real) but then again, anyone else's preferences' is different (who you wanna support, graphic, price, concave)
just go to a skate shop and stand on a few different boards from different companies.

swiss is good shit, definitely worth the money...keep em clean and they'll last for years.

indepdents are still good, just crank down the stock bushings for the first few weeks, then loosen them gradually.

wheels...ummm i guess Bones Swiss street technology or spitfires streetburners 54mm

if ya have any other questions, shoot me a PM and i can point ya in the right direction. :thumbup
