Sleeping: solo or 2-up?

Do you get better sleep alone or with someone else in bed next to you?

depends on the night

I don't sleep much maybe 5-6 hours in a given night. I go to bed after midnight and get up at 6am, everyday of the week.

My wife goes to bed at 10 and gets up between 7 & 10

If I feel I will be a disturbance, I sleep on the couch or in the spare bedroom.

So is there a Poll or what?
I sleep alone 4-5 nights a week.
Sleep with the GF 2-3 nights a week.
My Cal King Temperpedic is far superior to her Queen standard bed.

Always 2 up clothing not allowed

^ This unless the Stupid Kat sneaks in the room.

Funny this should come up today. My new bride is going on a 10 day writing retreat starting tomorrow night.

Poor me...

2up though it doesn't matter really, I fall asleep pretty easily no matter where.

We always sleep in the same bed. Having a cal king and similar schedules makes it a non-issue for us.

2 up, unless I am on a work stretch. Then I'm solo, in a separate apartment, and sleeping during the day.

2-up by default, though circumstances sometimes get in the way. Where's the poll?

A never ending war over space, resources, and climate... and for the record, begging does not, I repeat NOT, count as foreplay.

I am so pre-programmed that even when I go on business trips and have a huge king size bed to my self I only sleep on the one little part that is my side at home. :laughing

98% 2-up

I'll sleep in the spare room if I have to wake up early for work or work a weekend.

Can you almost hear her sharpening the elbows and knees as you creep a little closer to the middle?

:laughing

My wife gets up at 4:30 am to be at work by 6am. I work from 3pm to anywhere from midnight to 3:30 am. We always sleep in the same bed, I usually kiss her when I get home, she kisses me when she goes to work. Some nights I am still awake when she gets up.

But, here's the best part. We bought one of those $3000 beds, not adjustable, but the one where you can drop a bowling ball and not knock over the glasses of wine. So if either of us is sleeping really deep, the bed doesn't wiggle about when someone gets out of it and wake the other up.

I don't think either of us is truly comfortable if the other is not there, even if it is just a couple hours together.
