What a good ride by DangerBoy. Good to see him being a bit more humble (I guess) and appreciative (I suppose) of his spot.

Kenny Roczened his way to second place.
Hunter was practically a no show.

Now the points will double so no one is really totally out of it.

Nice job by Levi to grab the 250 win.



I was rooting for Daxton to win it though. He almost did.

Dangerboy humble...... I suspect his PR team has been coaching him a LOT!

But will agree, after watching the post race interview he had with Adam Cianciarulo and Justin Brayton, he kept it less cringe worthy. Great ride by him, and well deserved win. Was really surprised by how much Hunter was off the pace, not even on the same lap (think he got lapped twice.) I was screaming for Roczen, as he pushed Dangerboy to the limit and few mistakes early on in the motos. Great stuff!

Webb didnt look half bad, darn good the first moto and showing more fight. I know many folks have low expectations of him at the MXDN, I don't. He is the honeybadger, and given a sniff of opportunity, he'll pounce. I'll take a nickle bet from anyone that he has our teams best score at MXDN in France this year.

Gut punch for Daxton, thought he had it! Would have been a well deserved accomplishment for him. Both he and Rider D will need a ride next year with the Husqvarna team folding after the season. Anyone hear confirmation if KTM is going assorb either or both of them?

Tough day for the entire Honda team, with Hymas and Shimoda struggling as well.

My fanboy favorite Kitchen did it.

This points format is going to give us a show the next few wknds, regardless of the mudder results we saw this past race. Looking forward to better conditions, and maybe better racing.

I don't know if I should laugh, cry, or cheer for the roller coaster they call the SMX championship. Kiwi went down hard in Carson yesterday (ok... they are calling it LA.) Kitchen takes 3rd overall, but leaves on top with the red plate for the 250s going into the final weekend. He was hauling ass Moto 2.

Ryder D and Beaumer looked great this past weekend, with some real racing on a great track IMO. There is no doubting Cole Davies speed, when he stays upright... and that didnt happen. I think he is out due to a broken thumb for the final round, not sure. That highside he took was a serious slap down, scarey. What do folks think abaout Hymas, 13th overall with 15 10 moto results? Not what I expected, and concerned about him on the 450 at the MXON. His subpar performance the previous wknd in the mud, didnt worry me. Mud races suck, and you can never take anything away from them. But yesterdays track was spot on.

Kenny was in special form winning moto 1, what a great ride. Fricking stomping on it. Was really cheering for him moto 2, but he was fading hard. On the plus side, Prado showed us he can actually make a pass during the moto! Great to see him ride with some attitude and fight. Hunter seems to be back, and we have a tight points race going into next weekend. Could be any one of 5 guys Saturday.

Deegan made a bonehead move on Cooper Webb in Moto 2, that won't be forgotten too soon. Webb only has a week left as Deegans team mate, and I imagine its going to be tense this week at the practice track. In the post race interview, Webb was not happy. Flat out stated that if he has anything to do with it next weekend, Deegan will not win. Dangerboy, you done it now. Done gone and kicked the wrong honey badger. Expect some man type paypack on the track next Saturday.

Its been some great entertainment, and chaos in the points standings, as designed. Not sure what I think of the SMX Championship as a whole, circus perhaps, but also enjoying the show.
