Mine super adorable and, like my cat, extra cute when huddled up in it's bed for warmth...

I'll see myself out.

penis.

Well, someone started this thread. I just thought I’d contribute to it and add some humor and some small bit of fact.

I was born with what I’ve got and though there’s nothing impressive about it, it’s served me satisfactorily through the years.

No problem, if I were a guy I might just sneak in a photo. We are all born with genetic predispositions, we can only utilize what we have.
I enjoy your sense of humor.

You are so correct. That's why I hate gender reassignment surgery. Doctors may be able to fashion something that looks like the opposite sex but they can NOT make it feel the same. Whatever they produce will be numb and without feeling.

And doing that to kids is absolutely horrible. Let them grow up and make the decision themselves. And make sure they are fully informed.

Imagine your parents did that to you and in the process, destroyed any chance of your feeling sexual stiumlation. Geez........

And thank you for your comment on my sense of humor.

And littlebeast: Thanks for your comments as well. It's still tough but I'm hanging in there.

Cheers to you both!

Uh, nobody is going gender reassignment surgery on kids.

Dude, no it's not. Gender reassignment surgery in youths is not a thing.

It may not be a “thing”, and it may not be common, but it’s most definitely done. For various reasons, among which is strictly cosmetic so the child doesn’t feel out of place in the gym. And, of course, it completely ruins their ability to achieve sexual gratification.

And it’s not uncommon for the parents and doctors to make a mistake in assigning a new gender.

There are documentaries on the people whose lives have been ruined by doing this.

Yes, it’s sad that some children are born with ambiguous genetalia, but making children undergo this operation often makes it all much worse.

Making it so that a person can no longer achieve sexual gratification is too high a price.

Well this turned into an entirely different conversation but you can have your soapbox.

No, I mean young children far before they are old enough to make that decision themselves.

radical overstatement dude. recommend to push back on phobias and rein it in.

that said - there are times i question whether my very mature SO is old enough to make certain decisions (evidence frequently suggests otherwise). thank god he has someone who loves him whispering in his ear. and thank god also that he listens.

First, the notion that it is happening in children is a talking point pushed in conservative circles to stoke fear and hatred of trans people. Second, people who have undergone gender affirmation surgery most definitely can experience sexual gratification.

It's not sad that some children are born intersex. They're human beings. I do agree that it's a huge problem when doctors and parents decide the gender of intersex children.

Making it so that a person can no longer achieve sexual gratification is too high a price.

Again, this is false. You can take 2 seconds to google it.

I know the bolded used to happen in like, maybe the 50's? I assumed that practice had stopped.

ST Guy, seems like you have some things to learn about gender affirming care and what it all means to be trans, non binary or intersex. That's ok. Im 44 and had to learn new things about this stuff too. I'm pretty sure we agree that all people deserve dignity.
