So how was the IMS?

HD and MV aren't there I heard. I have to be there tomorrow morning. Anybody did the demo rides?
 
Nickb and I are planning to go tomorrow with my brother. Should we not bother?

Show was a'ight, about like visiting a bunch of dealerships with lots of bikes to sit on. I'd never walk into a Buell dealer so it was cool to see some of those bikes, would've been cooler if there were some Triumphs...
 
But were the stunt riders in the steel ball there?

Oh and another highlight from last year.. did an off-duty copy accidentally fire his gun in a crowded showroom? :laughing
 
I heard that Steve Jobs was not going to be there, so I skipped it.
 
Well...It was pretty crowded. Demo ride spots were filled early in the morning. If you wanna get a demo ride .....check the schedule of your favorite ride on IMS website and go early.

I played the 08 MotoGP game ...well..it seems it's harder to turn the bike in game console compared to real track...or may be bcoz it was a motoGP bike :laughing

Stunt show was good.
 
yup it sucked, don't go to the free demo rides.

If you haven't heard yet, it sucked big time. PTT didn't even have stickers to make my bike go faster. On a lighter note, the weather was great!!!

With the economy sucking, I didn't think there would be much of a turnout. The place was packed, in fact too many people. Usually when you want to look and sit on a new bike you just walk up to it.........today seemed like every bike I wanted to get a close look at there were a lot of other people trying to do the same...

I thought it was ok, was able to get a look at a few of the bikes I wanted to look at a bit close.

And since my Arai is really starting to fall apart, I found a good deal on an HJC Tarmac. Fit seems to be good, and most reviews I've read of the helmet are positive...on sale for $70.

Hopefully a ride review coming up soon....

The show was the normal. Demo rides were cool. Took the Harley XR1200 out on a non restricted ride. Took our own loop through Crystal Springs Rd, up to the resevoir, back up 92, and to the show. While rippen past the controlled rides of other Manufactures doing 100+. This HD actually gets it on pretty good.:thumbup

HD was there but, did not see MV...=[
Did the Kawiis' but, mostly hung out with the Repsol Peeps: Stacey, Ria, Frank,& Thom.
Bumped into some old friends and fellow Barfers'. Suppose to rain tomorrow, ride safe everyone!!!
