Are these available anywhere locally still? I messed up and didn't buy when I had the chance.

You could see if Lowe's has them...otherwise get a welding mask/goggles with a #14 shade...

Funny thing I was just googling this exact topic. Walmart is sold out. I might pay for two day shipping on amazon. Careful of knockoffs. There's an ISO standard that they need to meet and there's a news story Amazon is giving refunds and issuing a warning about some pairs they sold.

My buddy bought some from Amazon and they were knockoffs. Amazon refunded his money and told him to throw them away.

You're welcome

I totally forgot solar eclipse glasses were a thing. I think I tried it once when I was a kid.

I order through REI and had delivered to the store. Try local your children's museum. I know the one in Lodi has the glasses.

Remember when humans use to fear these things? I still do.

Sold out at the Home Depot last night. I couldn't find anything short of an actual welder mask. I had a piece of that glass but it got stolen with my car years ago..

Best (cheapest) option I have found are the flip up welding goggles that accept 50mm inserts. Buy those, and 2 shade 14 inserts and you're good.

Under $25, ships with prime.

EDIT: They were. Now the inserts are $10/pc and don't ship until the weekend.
