Speeding Ticket, 22349(a), fine amount doesn't make sense?

It looks a little high to me, based on the officer writing 80+. It sounds like he intended to put you in the lower bail schedule. You could always go to court and talk to the judge. Just for info the "going with the flow of traffic" is not a defense.

Another one of those so called breaks for 80+ and $480+. Let me give you a break and kick you in the face instead of your boys, much better right.

Fees are high, but trust them, it's for our safety, not quotas, no incentives, do the crime do the time deal:twofinger
 
Huh, wonder WTF the courts are doing. As I said earlier in the thread, I was written (kindly) for 40+ in a 25 and my courtesy notice says $244. It wouldn't have been unreasonable for me to be written for reckless (although I certainly would've fought that), and I was certainly in the highest fine zone. None of that was on the ticket, though.
