Tell that to Simoncelli on the Honda.the assumption that a smaller rider creates a better aerodynamic profile is wrong- at least up to a point. A longer, flatter back equals more speed.

I agree that there is no hard and fast rules for aerodynamics, and those rules evolve with speed as the positions of the boundary layers change with additional forces.
He just seemed to stick up higher than Pedrosa would and at 200 mph the airflow would be compressed down flatter than at lower speeds.
