Stoner speaks

i think hes labeled as as moaner crybaber

because he never showed up on qualifying

guy would go out set the pole on 1 flying lap, came back in took his leathers off, get a orgy session with his wife, come back out zip up his leathers and smashes the pole AGAIN if he really had too.

you guys all forgetting how he dominated qualifying and never really bothered to qualify, he was so beastmode it was ridiculous

i saw moaner last time laguna seca, you can visually see and hear his bike being pushed harder around the turns vs everyone else in the pack, he was on the throttle alot sooner then most.

honestly i think same machinery moaner would find a way to squeeze and override it on the 1st ride, while rossi and dani and jorge would need a few days to dialup the setup.
 
I like Stoner. It sucks he retired like this. I would rather seem him win races and then shit Talk Dorna in the press conference. With more factory's coming back it would be great to have him in the mix.

That being said most of the Stoner hate is from Rossi fans who would crawl through burning glass to smell the ass of the horse that takes his laundry away.
 
Stoner is the kind of guy that lambasts a reported and publicly tells people not to go to his website, and then 10 days later confirms that the reporter was right
 
Stoner is AMONG the best, but it's hard for me to thinks he's the goat when Jorge is surpassing his wins and tities.

Mehh. The back marker on that field any year can run circles around anyone we look up to locally. That's enough reason for me to respect any and every rider on that field. Stoner included. He can whine all he wants on camera. He's a monster on the bike and I'd kill to have 1 millionth of his skill.

If Stoner dominates the sport for five years, he might be the GOAT. But he is not and never will be. He's a crybaby quitter.
 
I actually always thought Casey's rep as a 'moaner' was him just being honest which I appreciated. He didn't try to be political or sugarcoat. I can see why someone on the bleeding edge of performance is always thinking about every little minutia to perform that 100th of a milisecond better. He just didn't filter or tactically hold back when people asked him about it. There was more insight from his 'moaning' than Rossi's rose colored cheer - thought what I am liking about Rossi these past couple of years is he is seeming more direct and honest and astute with his comments. That being said I can understand why people might eventually tire of Casey's 'honesty.' BUT what really threw me off of Stoner was how he behaved when people criticized or questioned him and especially how he handled his retirement - he would throw throw people under the bus and be all irritated at people for doing their job or even at the fans for quite frankly being interested in the fucking heroes who ride these rockets.
 
i disagree that there was any insight in Moaner's moaning. if there was any substance to his complaining, we wouldnt have called it moaning. usually he was just whining about other rider's styles and racing tactics or about media commitments.

dont get me wrong, other riders moan a bit too like Rossi about the Factory2 concessions earlier this year. but Rossi whines prob 10% of the time where as i feel that Moaner did it 90% of the time.

edit: the only time i rem there being any substance to Moaner's moaning was when he complained about Duc's lack of development.

ducs lack of improvement was moaned by rossi and everyone else who road it except iannone and dovi this year,

the only real incident i remember that was kinda poor sport was when rossi rammed him, and he was all butt hurt and ran into rossi paddock and screamed shit like your ambition outweighs your talent or something like that

but wtf about danica patrick running around smacking fools in the pit - like she actually assaults drivers and shit like that, but i guess sex sells

Anyhooo, I've said it before... Stoner treated GP racing like he was being marched off to the salt mines for a 13 hour day, it just got tough to watch/listen to.

I don't think Stoner either ran or screamed. Stoner walked into Rossi's garage and spoke with him. The "ambition outweighed your talent" is a common phrase in Australia from what I've read. I'm not sure that is poor sport after the bone-headed move Rossi pulled.
 
Yup, Rossi went to Stoners garage to apologize. Casey's first sentence was "How's the shoulder", apparently in reference to Rossi's injury and then came the "ambition blah blah talent" statement. Stoner said in his bio that he was miffed that all the marshalls ran to help Rossi but not one came to help him up. Also that Rossi just gave a BS apology in front of the cameras. Didn't even take his helmet off ar anything. His words.
 
i love it that the parts of his bio that ppl remember are when hes complaining... and thats y we call him Moaner.
 
All I remember about Stoner is press conferences and him bitching about tires, other riders, other riders, other riders, the weather and how the world was out to get him.
 
Yeah well I heard the baby actually belongs to Rossi.

They've got the same birthday and everything.
