StonyBARF XXIII 9/24/26

Hello
I am a newbie here on the site, and I love Stonyford :) - my picture with the snow is from Stonyford LOL.
Above is an entrance code ? I am a bit at a loss..... I am used to going to Davis Flats or just staging out of Wolf Creek Visitor information center for day rides, but no entrance code is required?
Where is it that you camp at Stonyford?
Does everyone show up on Friday and leave on Sunday?
How many people go?
Is this a family trip with the kids too?
I assume trailers & RV's too ?
Do I need to pay someone for the reservation?
Thanks please let me know any other info about the trip/ride

Here is a picture from Nov 2009, the top of Goat Mountain at Stonyford,,, yes 17 years ago..... LOL ..

About the kids: I brought my kid a couple of times (to ride) and I’ve seen some younger kids but they were all riding age. As long as your kids are OK with people they should be fine! Oh and I would say I’ve definitely heard some R rated stuff but most kids are OK with that too :laughing

PM inbound to Woodydog gut still, this is good

First weekend in October there’s the family friendly rally in Lakeport. Great for kids, minutes from Middlecreek, Penny Pines and Cow Mountain.

Thanks for the replies .....
funny, I have never seen the Grey Pine Group campground. I have been going to Stonyford since they still had the fire lookout tower on the top of Goat Mountain back around 1992. I have always loved taking trail 20 through the pine trees to the top....
I will work on the pay pal thing, I have never been much on all the electronic stuff, life was better when the phone was attached to the kitchen wall.
I should be there ...

Ah, life was good when the phone was attached to the kitchen wall. I gotta put that in the Geezer thread.

Butch - here are the average weather there was no attachment, bottom left, on the pm if you click on the image it shows all the months

in support of the above: my kids (16/13) had a great time at the last stonybarf, but then again, they are my kids, and are used to all sorts of shenanigans, creative word choices, colorful people, etc, etc...

You can pay the 20 bucks when you get there so no worries about PayPal.

Chime in if you intend to participate and I will update the second post

I was up there this past weekend and it was beautiful. Cool in the evenings, and low-mid 80's during the day.

I'm hoping to go Thursday.
