Not to mention the satisfaction of the retractable cord button whipping the cord back into the case.....damn, I miss a vacuum....:shocker :confused
 
Polishing silver. I have some nice silver pieces my dad gave me years ago, and I love polishing the tarnish off and making them shine.

And it's not necessarily a stupid thing, but it's kind of silly... I love making scones for my daughter and her boyfriend. Since I didn't race today, I got up early to bake up a big batch of scones to take out to Josie at the track.

Lastly, I read the occasional trashy romance novel. Terrible drivel, but what can I say... I'm a sucker for a book with heaving bosoms and over-muscled bad boys looking to be reformed... :facepalm

I used to work as a cleaning lady. I had two clients with those vacuums. They were my favorites. One of these days... :love

:laughing I don't know why this strikes me as funny but it kind of does. I think 'cause it's CUTE.

Oh, let me add clean sheets and a clean house to my list. There is something so soothing about the experience of cleaning as well as the result.

HH, I got a Vapor Clean steamer that gives me a ridiculous amount of cleaning enjoyment.

And I love exploring old cemeteries. We should do a ride sometime.
 
Frogs. Frogs are incredibly stupid little hoppy creatures, that make me incredibly happy. Just lookit their widdle toes. SO CUTE.

We have a Siamese that's a ball (Paper wad) fetch'in fool! But I think it brings her more joy than us? :kitty
As long as we're on critters, I wuz up at Dos Rios Saturday watching lizards do push ups in the sun. (Better them than me) That brought some joy to my heart.

One hour later....

"Hmmm.. this place is a mess... look at all of those paper balls..."
 
Cleaning firearms for hours.

Yeah, it's a mundane and tedious task, but damn it feels good to know that when I pull that trigger, my target dies. Period.

If your a gun nut, you totally get what I mean.

You left out the smell of the gun oil...
I know exactly what you mean-when that little white patch comes out just as clean as it was when it went in :thumbup

When the home is finally spic and span, not so much as a spec of dust in the sun ray, windows open, fresh flowers on the table, cat curled up and purring on the fresh made bed, and a little music; this is joy and bliss-then the man and dog come home and a new joy takes over.

Lizard pushups are funny. I have spent some time giggling and watching them get their exercise in.
 
Spring cleaning :party

which starts next weekend, I know, a little late to the game but the weather has been crappy :x

gonna take shiteloadsa stuff to goodwill
