Suzuki; $1,000 off many of their already enticing lower priced street bikes...

I wonder if any of the other Japanese manufacturers will follow suit? Not like I'm looking for another bike, but if the prices drop and gas continues to go up (when the Saudis hit the streets, expect gas to go to $10 a gal., or see the Marines romping around Riyadh), that might bring in some more riders.

Kawasaki did this last year. I was able to pick up my 09 ZX6R OTD for $8k with ext warranty.

With sales hurting like they are, I am surprised all manufacturers are not following suit. I am surprised it took this long for another one of the big 4 to do promo like this.

I didn't realize that the DRZ is a more expensive bike than the SV...

The DRZ seems more of a toy; the SV seems more bike for the money.

Thanks for the heads up. That GS500F is too tempting to pass up. I can upgrade the Ninjette trainer to a 500 cheap enough. I'll probably have a Ninjette to sell pretty soon! :laughing

expect future suzukis to be built in korea, chima, south east asia...

A yacht is a toy, and a Corolla is much more practical. Thus you should give me a yacht for a Corolla.

Welp, I went to my preferred dealer and they are hunting me up a GS500F for the ninjette trainer replacement. Damn these good prices!
