Trying to figure out what the generic equivalents of the following items listed in my '99 SV shop manual:

- Suzuki Super Grease A
- Suzuki Bond 1207B
- Suzuki Thread Locker Super 1303
- Suzuki Thread Lock 1342
- Suzuki Thread Lock Super 1360

Thanks!

Use blue loctite for almost every bolt on a motorcycle. Red is pretty much a permanent installation on small bolts.

Super Grease use a synthetic wheel bearing grease/axle grease

Super bond 1207b has a toyota equivalent but it costs a frkkn fortune, find some black or gray motorcycle gasket stuff, ( semi drying).

Oh, is the 1207b a high-temp solid gasket/loctite like thing? Ducati has something like that called "tri-bond" which is used for a bolt on the water pump cover which I have a tube of. And yes, it's a small fortune.

I believe 1207b is essentially an ATV sealant. The product is a branded version of something available on the market. I had a tube back at home, but for the life of me, I can't remember who made it. Some googling back in the day sorted it all out for me.

1207b is a semi drying sealant, and is good for oily areas. It is not an RTV sealant.
