The BARF Medical Thread

Just had my cystoscopy and me bladder is fine - no cancer. My urologist mentioned that folks that work with petrochemicals, like my brothers the mechanic and the machinist, are more likely to have bladder cancer. Pass the word to those that work with these petroleum based products.
 
…My big toenail would ingrow occasionally, and with today’s technology suffering is optional. Yesterday I had my nail customized. Procedure was painless, though the did give me good drugs for recovery.
Been there, not pleasant. I hope it works well for you.

I finally ended up having my toenail completely removed and the root "burned" so it wouldn't come back.
Well, it came back... worse than before. : |
 
I smacked my big toe on a bot dot at like 85mph. Even with a boot it hurt like a muther)(*R.

Toe nail turn black over time and fell off. It grew back with a little weirdness and fell off again. I am on my second weirdness. It does not hurt.
 
two weeks yesterday, almost healed, see the doc on Monday, he better give me clearance to wear motoboots for hours on end.
Yeah, live life to the fullest and shit wears out.

Just don't do stairs in stocking feet.
 
started my infusions today, two different fluids, with a saline flush in between.
Sitting for 5 + hours, your reporter, digging deep, into my "mending"
It takes two nurses to start this, much like the two keys used to launch nukes.
Everything documented, and cross checked, for my safety.
New tech for Mel O' Nooma, over the knife
4 times, every three weeks, into Dec.
