If the dirt is not that bad, I might have to make this my first long ride after getting my new hardware installed.

If anyone has access to a small hand/foot powered pump please bring it! We'll have slime on hand, but a little pump might be nice in case we get a flat and don't have access to air.

I still think we can make it. It's not THAT steep. It's got its parts, but it'll be fun :)

I dunno, the rest of us should be fine but if JP hasn't fixed his throttle, he'll have to find another way around and we can meet him. (referring to- his bike had a prob in that vid on the small hill on your last ride)

AW DAMN! I wanna catch a ride like this! I've been DYING to get the KLR off on some rougher roads. I gotta work on Monday and I've got a ride on Sunday. I certainly hope there's more of these coming!

Woot! Yup, wear your long johns or whatever! The high is in the 60's, but up north it'll be a bit colder and you won't like it without them!

I'm wearing a 1-piece cold-weather undersuit, a 1-piece leather and a backpack.

In the backpack I'm bringing: 1 Pair of Pants, 1 Shirt, 1 Pair of Boxers, 1 Pair of Socks, Toothbrush/Toothpaste, Misc. Rachet/Sockets, Spare Clutch Cable, Two Liters of Gasoline, A bottle of slime, The Map.

It'd be wise for all of you to bring something similar. Perhaps tubes or more slime, etc.

I'll most likely be staying at Americas Best Inn, as it's the cheapest I can find without going to some "Super Motel!" or something like that. That means Garret will be as well, since he'll be in my room. Woot! Keep that in mind when you make your reservations, it's probably best to all stay near one another....
 
JP you might pic up an SD card or something the one that I am sending up with Mike will get you 30 mins of vid. Also a lock for your bikes if you have not already thought of that. Too easy to pick them suckers up and toss them in a truck. My 2cents! Enjoy!
