The Home Grower's Thread

You'd need to have the male pollinate one of the females for seeds and ruin the grow so I'd toss them. They don't produce seeds themselves.

Nooooo! Just plastic bag them once they form balls and don't cross contaminate. You could get a superior F1 hybrid to clone if it's good.

If they are the same strain keep one, let it form a few balls, bag it and tease off some pollen into a film canister (they still have those right?) with a silica gel moisture getter.

Leave a lower flower or three after you cut everything down and apply a speck of pollen with anything small, even your finger will work. Let the plant develop the seed out of the way and out of drafts. It's obvious, the pistil will swell and split. Takes a few weeks, but you've successfully bred cannabis!
 
So my largest plant is so thirst now it drank its 3 gallon pot dry in one cycle. It was seriously dropping last night, today, just fine.

Started to water that one in the morning too.

I bent over the crazy main stem and it's already curled back up so it's alive but much flatter.

A friend might sell me two more plants ready to flower might as well fill up the empty space though I won’t be able to switch them to 12/12 yet
 
It's very happy

I'm giving up on the fox farms and moving to Humboldt; tree, A, and B.

The amount of effort to use the fox farms is just too much.
 
I used Fox Farm Hydro, Bog Bloom, tiger bloom, kangaroots, microbrew, open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching

TOO MUCH

SUPER happy plant, I did not get the growth I expected.

Way better results using General Hydroponics
 
Last time was terrible lol got an ounce from 2 plants

put a little bit of Blackstrap Molasses in the water
Half a teaspoon to a gallon of water made them grow crazy

I won’t do that again for a few more weeks,I’m waiting on my seeds from growers choice ,could take a while for the to arrive,

Male plant it’s in the bedroom under couple of bulbs I’m going to keep it for the pollen,

Been watching YouTube videos on how to make female seeds lol

As soon as ONE plant penis pops, collect and discard the plant. Each one produces 100s of thousands. Think of it like jizz, a little dab will do ya. You can sex the offspring during the selection process.

Flip those plants to 12/12 right now. You also have room to pull those tops down in the empty space and get more yield out of the lower branches. You can actually "break" (really bend/fold) the tops over about 6" down and they will stay that way until turning up over 24/48 hours.

Good time to foilar feed some maxicrop and 10-20-10 too. You should get a 1.5-2oz per plant there Budge
 
One of the two largest plants arms are already starting to fall over from the weight of the developing buds. Had to stake up two already. The super tall one has naturally lolippoed itself on top of what I did and just keeping the bottom clean of scragler bud sites.

I wonder if I can keep it another month it's as tall as the tent can handle.

Edit:

I'm going to transplant it into a 7 gallon as I need to water it 2x a day right now. It might double in size with flowering. Going to the Hydroponic Connection for some cococoir. They're doing curb-side business :)

Also explains the yellow lower leaves since I was giving it the wrong nutrient ratios for its life cycle time.

I still can but I don't want to do another grow right away after this one

Went to the Hydroponic store for more cococoir to repot it to a 7 gallon.
