The Home Grower's Thread

I generally prefer to err on the longer flush side and fewer amber, but lotsa people want to push it to get max sticky. This is the cake? Should be ten weeks this saturday, but the ten week dosi-lato I have going looks like it will be a little longer. It's in flush now.

I need to decide if I harvest on Sunday before I fly out or leave it until I get back Friday..will probably wait.

 
Back from Arkansas, plant is DONE. I checked tricomes, more orange. I'm shocked it's still alive since it hasn't been watered in a week. I took out all the stakes and turned the light off and will cut it down tomorrow.

Excited to start the organic super soil grow.
 
The over-dried a little but I put them in a jar with 2 x 62% humidipacks to rehydrate a little.

2.2 oz so 75% water loss.
 
Finally picked up some dry ice...

160 micron bag



220 micron bag (same stuff sifted again)



Ever so slight color difference

After doing it all I re-did the spent weed again with the 220 bag and got shit-tons more. I might just mix it all together.
Freed up a lot of storage jar space.



Shout out to SF Ice for $1.20 / lb...Bens Ice is $5/ lb

So will you press that into hash? It looks powdery. What is the texture like? Can you just put some in a pipe and smoke it?
 
Well I use the last of my canna butter to make some gummy’s, my first attempt at gummy’s. It was a lose win win. The canna butter separated during cooling. So it is a half a gummy have buttery treat. Very tasty with the lime Jell-O and I’m getting a buzz on a 1/2 of one

It's pretty sticky. I've been pressing it into hash pucks. For fun, I pressed some at 160 F for 1 minute and it basically turned into hashish.

It's kief you can press it into hash, smoke it in joints or a pipe.

So I got my hash press technique down. I take 3 kief pellets/pucks push them in, tighten, add heat, tighten, etc let cool and perfect dark hash.
 
This may be too broad for the overall discussion, but I'd like to grow a few plants in pots, outdoors this season. Someone told me to plant clones around Mother's Day, outside.

Can anyone provide advice for someone's first time growing outside, or point me to a resource? I'm an avid gardener, but haven't grown cannabis. I'll sample the harvest and likely give a lot away, but just sort of want to do this, now that we can legally.

I may have just invented/re-discovered an ingenious method for bringing THC on trips with minimal risk.



Left is a fiber pill. Right is a pill of kief.



Bottom of jar. I've literally never had medication OTC or otherwise remoately glanced at.
