The Official 2017/2018 NFL Thread

That TD sealed it up. Otherwise just pretend they missed the extra point and kicked off and that's where it's at. Basically a non-event.

Gotta like going for the kill with 2 pt conversions tho. That's a "fuck you dallas" if there ever was one.

Are they going for 2 because the kicker is hurt? I saw the linebacker did a pretty impressive kickoff

Math before the last attempt made it such that two TD's from Dallas would tie, so it was a smart strategy. Either way, I don't really like conservative football, so it's fun to see teams hang it out a bit. Not gonna watch the rest though, don't think it's going to be interesting.

carson wentz fukn the next don mcnabb bro

guy is cool as ice in the endzone

So you are saying he is a racist who will never win shit, because his guts are made of water and he has no class?

Nice.

So how about dem giants today?

An ugly win, but a win nevertheless. Beating a top tier team like KC just goes to prove that this team is falling apart under the current leadership. They could be winning, they just aren't.

Miserable day watching beastmode get good hard yards in ground opening the playbook for passing

Just for dropped passes

so frustrating. and now it looks like Holton and Roberts have been infected with the dropsies too. It hit Holton's shoulder pad on a deep ball - perfect pass, interception. and the pass Roberts caught in the red zone - perfect pass, tried to do too much, fumble. That's 10-14 points lost right there. Then of course the obligatory Crabtree and Cooper drive-killing drops were there too. the receiving corps is in disarray.

What I want to know is, what happened to these Raiders? They were an unstoppable force last year. I don't feel like there were significant changes. Did Defenses just figure them out? This sudden drop off seems weird to me.

They forgot how to play defense, and the WRs forgot how to catch.

You have to live on River Denial to not have known all along that Crabtree and Cooper are not consistent receivers. Great when they are great, sucky when not. For a while, I was blaming Kaepernick for Crabtree's drops, not any more...

But it is a good question (wha' hoppen to Raiders). I am surprised at their collapse.

Crabtree has always been like that. There's a reason SF let him walk instead of paying him #1 WR money.

I'm actually surprised at the failures of the whole AFC west...

Go back a few pages to pre-season and we all agreed the AFC was looking like one of the best divisions in football... now, not so much. The Chargers were the only team to win yesterday, mainly because Buffalo decided to experiment with a rookie QB that tossed 5 interceptions IN THE FIRST HALF.

Raiders ain't done yet! :laughing

Speaking of Peterman:

To Bills: 6/14 for 66 yards 0 TD 5 INT is a rating of 17.86
To Chargers: 5/14 for 84 yards 1 TD 6 INT is a rating of 41.07

but yeah Tyrod Taylor was their problem.
