And while I'm asking, what was your cumulative GPA at Yale? Or was it Harvard or Princeton...Stanford? Hell what was it when you graduated any college?

The guy's presidency was a disaster, but I can't get enough ROFL when the majority of people that have a fraction of his level of experience and education go on and on and on and freaking on about how "stupid" and inept he is.

I'm not saying you CAN'T graduate an Ivy League school, or that you CAN'T pilot and navigate a fighter jet, but talk sh*t after you accomplish these feats before trying to bury people that have.

W was a legacy case at Yale and got into HBS through connections. The long list of his commercial failures are a testament to the fact that he didn't let his schooling interfere with his dumbness.

Obama OTOH does not have that excuse. And if shit hits the fan, he cannot take the inanity plea.

I wouldn't trade intelligence levels with the man if that means anything. Just go back and read the email a few times word for word. It takes at least 25-30 times before the average human mind can comprehend that level of failure

I think 7 out of 10 barfers could have done a better job than him FWIW.

The operative phrase. If somebody got into Yale 'on their own merit', they would probably be well ahead of Bush right from the start! (My uncle taught there and from some of his stories, there is more than merit involved in getting some of the students in there!) :laughing

Like I said, the guy's presidency was a disaster...NO argument. However one wants to package it (one's perspective is everything) he accomplished more, and failed more than you or I likely will in our lifetime. Questionable decisions cost him dearly a few times in his professional life. I made some of those same decisions which is maybe why I'm not CEO of Oracle, but I do pretty well. I'm not the President, but I do alright.

That said, I'm a reasonably intelligent guy, and I have no doubt I would struggle at Yale...mostly due to a lack of discipline, but struggle nonetheless.

This really doesn't make a lot of sense. With this train of thought only people of equal accomplishments would be able to express opinions on other people. Only presidents could judge other presidents, etc. etc. etc.

Not at all. I'm simply saying that its nonsense to call a person stupid, when that person has achieved things that are generally understood to require intelligence, that YOU yourself have not.

Isn't that a bit of a "vandal in a glass house" scenario?
