They quest for my 04' 600RR

I second calling Berkeley Honda. I've bought three bikes from them in the last couple of years, 2 dirt 1 street. Of all the places I called or went to Scott at Berkeley was the best. Gave me no bullshit otd prices over the phone.

Cool...Deal

Gonna try to head over to Berkely, Hayward, and Honda of milpitas..In the next coming weeks...Just got an email quote from HOM for like $8499 OTD! Not bad eh? I hope the price will go down :p when i go to the other 2 dealerships and see if they can beat that...

Taking your time to purchase a bike is highly recommended. I believe all these dealerships want your money..So actually finding the best dealership out there that can give you the best price will get my business..I'm just tired of hearing all these things about "supporting your local shop"

I'll give you guys a report when I visit the other 3 shops and share them with my fellow "BARF" bros's and sis ;)
I'm in no rush to get a bike now, but I really want one ASAP!

i dont think u need to go to the hayward one. they suck. i bought my bike there, and got an okay deal. but i wont buy another bike from they. they try to rip people off.
oh yeah. i went to oakland honda yesterday and they selling 1000rr for msrp otd, which is 11k. thats an very good deal for who ever is looking for it. since everywhere else is selling for at least 13k+

best deal

MY .02 on this I own a business(not motorcycle related) from my point of view I hate to deal with people who will take my price and then go to another dealer and show them my price to beat it.Here is why, example only.
you go motorcycle dealer A. he quotes you 10,000 otd,
you come to me B I quote you 8500 otd without ever seeing
dealer A price, then you go to dealer C and D and say well dealer B will do it for 8500 can you beat that and they might say 8400 otd, but do you go back to B who gave you the upfront deal first no and give him a chance to match Cor D price, you will buy it from C or D . Or the real burner is you go back to A
say B will do it for 8500otd and he says fine and matches it and buy from A who would have ripped you off if he had half a chance.

What I do is I go into 4 dealers ask them for their best price and buy from who is the cheapest and who gave me the best service,
I would never buy or go back to a dealer who tried to rip me off
and support the guy who gave me an up front deal out of the box

There are dealers out their who are honest and will give you a straight deal you should try to support them as everyone has to make a fair and I repeat a fair profit to stay in business, if you support them we will weed out the dishonest ones, as they will go out of business
