Thieves steal dying bikers motorcycle after crash

It makes me wonder how long before thieves realize how vulnerable we are and just start crashing us to get our bikes.

Well, not my bike, but you understand.

MAYBE...the guy that stole the bike caused the wreck in the first place.

Woah. Hadn't thought of that at all, but since a brown van just happened to show up and take the bike... sounds mighty low to me. :/

:rip Rider.

These scumbags should be shot on sight.

i lose a little bit a faith in man everyday, and today was no exception.

RIP dude!

My friend got robbed after he wrecked and was knocked unconscious in Union City.

They didn't take his bike, but they took his wallet. A witness saw the whole thing.

How do we know they aren't the ones who caused the crash in the first place?

Thieves need to die like this: Burglary suspect dies in plunge on Telegraph Hill
(09-11) 06:38 PDT SAN FRANCISCO -- A car-burglary suspect fell to his death early today after he climbed over a wall on San Francisco's Telegraph Hill while trying to flee from police, authorities said.

MAYBE...the guy that stole the bike caused the wreck in the first place.

OR MAYBE... the guy that died stole the bike and was trying to flee. the driver of the brown truck was the actual owner, following in an attempt to recover his bike.

the assumed situation from all the previous posts is beyond appauling, but no one except the dead guy and the driver of the brown truck know the whole story. still shouldve taken the guys broken-ass to the hospital though

Virginia police are asking anyone with information about the motorcycle Scott Henry, 26, of Brantford, was riding when it crashed Monday at 3pm on Indian Line in Townsend Township in north Norfolk, Virginia to come forward.

"We don't know where the bike is, the make or model or anything," said Constable Jeff Walraven.

One presumes that the police checked DMV records for a motorcycle registered in the victim's name. That they don't know what he was riding suggests they didn't find anything in a records search. Kind of odd.

Leaving a dying man by the side of the road is a very bad thing in any event. :thumbdown

Assumption is the mother of all f*#* up's

If i saw the theif take off on my bike I would give chase. Not saying that I would take him out. But if he did go down in a corner in front of me I don't think I would help him up. I would load up the bike and call the police (maybe) KARMA BI00TCH..... Is all you would hear from me...

you know KARMA BI00TCH is a two way street, I dont care if the dead rider is the thief...someone should have gotten an ambulance down there.

Again this is an assumption, but if someone steals my bike, I give chase and they go down Im getting the police involved. Im not going to play God and watch them bleed out (this makes you worse than the thief in my eyes) You ever been in a hit an run situation? I have and right after I started chasing the offender I started dialing 911, you dont let these bastards get away. But on the same token you dont let them die. If it was your bike you would get it back regardless of the outcome...unless you did something stupid like run into him.

So sad. :(

This is a job for Ghost Rider...GUILTY! :Bap

not only do they not know the make or model of hte bike, they're unsure what country they're in. This Norfolk and Brandford are in Ontario, Canada, not Virginia.

Let me just say that if this was to happen I would have been on the phone with the police while grabing my keys and on the way out the door (Odds are I would foget the head set) and stayed on the phone with them. Informing them of what just accured. I still don't think I would help him up.
