Thoughts on current model BMW cars?

Forget the quality aspect. What the hell has happened to Infinity? Seems like ever since they went Q this and Q that for every model they make, they just don't seem relevant anymore. Or is it just me? But it seems like I hardly ever hear anyone talk about them, say they want one, or whatever.

Yeah, wondering the same thing.

But their new Q60 has been getting a bit of buzz 400hp tt v6. The only thing that I don't like are those reverse c pillars they have on some of their cars.

For Infinity, could it be customer base and perception?

see--your own perception of Infinity is also written above.

Therefore, demand(or, not) may affect any quality changes from the builders.

C5 Corvettes seem to be available at low miles for good prices. 2000-2004 model years for ez smog.

I might look for one of these when my green carpool stickers expire on the Volt.

C5s are very cool. Man, I remember when they first came out, it was a huge game changer. Finally, chevy went modern! They still look great today IMO, especially the C5 Z06 coupe.

C5: last model with pop-ups :thumbup

Much better than the riceboy beady-eyes of the C6. They look like a cheap aftermarket mod.

I don't like the look or interior of the C6.

The C7 looks amazing but even used they are still a lot of coin.

I still have my c5z. 126k miles and runs good. Drives like a go kart and yet not enough power to get you in trouble when messing around.

More fun to drive than my c6z but c6z is miles faster on a track.

FD for sure, but i'm partial. I was a previous FD owner.

The door line on the FD is just an absolute design masterpiece. As is the tapered rear end. Should have kept my car.

Nissan quality died after 2003.

I would disagree insofar as my experience with my 350z (which is a 2006). The thing has been stone cold reliable and the fit/finish is just fine. There was some talk about oil consumption problems with that year motor, but most were replaced under warranty.

Infinity versions of the 350 (G35 and other 35 variants) don't have any notable digs either.

Not exactly scientific, but if forums are any indicator, there hasn't been much bitching with respect to the 3.5 motors or cars with them.

Pathfinders, not so much. Crappy mileage and expensive replacement parts.

I remember thinking the exact same thing when the C5 was released. Such a vast improvement.

You can have both.

C5 has more interior room for taller folks.

I've owned 3 different C5 vettes. One was a Zo6. I never could make it burn out because at the time I was not aware of what traction control was. So like an idiot I'd try with it engaged and it would not let me. I was like this car sucks.

Where do I turn in my man card? :laughing

At least you're not this C6 owner.
