As someone who has ridden Hairpin's (above) Grom for extended periods while my moto was in the shop: it's helllla fun and part of the reason I started shopping for a supermoto. Not a ton of power, but who cares - it's ridiculously light and super maneuverable in traffic. I used it to commute to work (downtown SF) for about a week and when traffic is full stop, no split room you can pop it on the curb easily for a short spell 
But yeah, what she said about the front forks. I think I bottomed them out twice in medium potholes that my sumo handles with aplomb.
