Hello does anyone know where I can get titanium tube ends machined/faced. Just need the ends of the tube flat and smooth.

There are many machine shops in the bay area (especially south bay) that can likely do this. However if you specifically want someone who is motorcycle friendly, I've seen Derek Capito at Moto Lab do excellent work with Ti. You would probably want to ship the parts as its a long drive/ride to his new shop location... http://www.moto-lab.com/

How long of a tube are we talking? What diameter? How precise do you need it?

The tubes are for clip-ons I'm making, just want the ends flat so that the bar ends will fit flat and flush.

You could likely get them flat enough with a file, little bit of work but probably easier that tracking down a machine shop and bringing the parts over. Never done it myself but it seems titanium can be worked with files.

I have gotten too .001" accuracy on thickness and parallel with a file and a vice working aluminum round stock without too much trouble.

If you're just trying to make the bar ends sit flush it doesn't need to be all that flat. A file, a vise, and a machinist's square should be adequate.

ircsmith, I have 12mm titanium rods that I want to cut to size and thread the ends, like in the attached pic.
