Why do these threads keep popping up? It seems like we have hundreds of them pop up over the few years I've been here. I have yet to see any good come out of them.

I kid, I kid...the threads provide us all entertainment...from the semantics threads to the, "I saw a guy in a black and yellow suit that I'd really like to tickle where he pees" threads.
