Tour De France starts tomorrow

Road furniture strikes again. The organizers have been pretty good with markings and marshalls. But this one could have been better. And the Visma riders on the front absolutely read that corner wrong. Sad times.

It’s cool that Pidcock and Remco are showing better. Grand Tours are so long. It’s crazy that some riders wait a week or more before producing good form.

managed to save Stage 15 to watch until today’s rest day because I spent last week camping on the moto, and avoiding spoilers—so it was super disappointing to see Mr Jonas crash out just now, because I was rooting for him. :(

did enjoy watching Mr Simmons get the Most Aggressive rider for Stage 15. :flag

and congratulations to Mr Evenepoel on winning on an epic and heroic mountain stage.

(fascinating to hear Mr Tadje reminding us that Mr Jonas had been woken up for drug testing in the middle of the night, and wondering if that played some roll in the crash. Mr Bob Roll was livid about the middle of the night drug screen.)

( absolutely love Mr Kuss … his interview after today’s stage just covered him in glory as a person gifted with immense character and grace.)
