In the last two weeks I've seen two track bikes with track fairings (no headlights) wailing down 101 near dusk. One of them was sporting a helmet as the only notable form of protection. I can't even fathom lanesplitting without a headlight, as one of them had been doing as he came up behind me. Guess what dufis? The only reason I knew your dumbass was there was because of your loud-pipes-save-lives decibel blower.

What's the thought process here? Are you begging to get your bike impounded? Or get into a chp chase only to get yourself and possibly others killed because your dumbass ran after riding a non-road legal bike on the freeway?

Retard = offensive. That's the point

stolen, hoods trying to have some fun on them before parting them out or wadding them.

Interesting....

Only countries in europe required to ride motorcycles with lights is Belgium, France, Spain...

In the UK it is possible to register a bike without lights for daytime (& without limited visablity) only use, whereas you can ride a track-race bike on the road or a MX bike as well.

I suppose the Brits are dumbass savages....

this is one of those "if its too loud, youre too old" kind of things.
we've all done stupid shit. dont be so contemptuous about someone else having a little fun. i say you worry about your own problems rather than trying to solve other people's problems.

ABC and nbean16,

Take a moment to review the TOS.

Fun is fun, but you two look like you are headed towards a TOS violation and a suspension. Knock it off or take it to PMs.

A slight edit to be more conforming with the thread theme.

[There are guys on bikes out there that scare me, and I have been around bikes since I was about eight.]

What do we do after we get the track bikes out there? Joust?

I don't know if California law changed but you don't need a headlight for daytime riding, however if you have a headlight it must be of the approved kind. At least that's the way it was in my time.

No, it's not. "Having a little fun" is subjective: some people have a little fun by risking their own lives, some have a little fun risking others' lives. I guessing the OP wouldn't care if those knuckle heads killed themselves, as long as they didn't take anyone else out.

So, it sounds to me like the OP is worried about his own problem: idiots "having a little fun".
