Track skills vs Street skills

A message to everyone posting here:

Remain on topic and eliminate the insults. There is a lot of good information in this thread and the ego's of many of you are making it difficult to weed through.

And just to nip this in the bud, I don't care who started it first. You come off just as childish in the response to an (implied) insult as the person that flung the insult to begin with.

Remain on topic, reply as a mature adult, or leave the thread.

All generalizations are wrong.

Unfortunately, we need to define "ride"...we'll never get there Ken!!!!

I can go the first weekend of June.

<--- 9 Pages late, and $ .02 short...

BUT,

The corner workers have deer flags at Infineon.

I got hit by a deer on the street once, it sucked.

I think a guy with a flag is better able to help me not hit the deer than my "street experience" of actually hitting the deer.

The deer died.

Thats all.

The way I look at it, is that anything that puts more tools(skills) in the tool box is a good thing

First weekend day I'm free is June 4th. I'll be instructing at Thunderhill on June 3rd if any of the street guys want to do additional research on the subject :)

Any objections to starting in Cordelia and heading north? The conversations at the post-ride dinner (I'm thinking the steak sandwich place in Cloverdale) should be priceless :)

Sounds good to me a sonoma run Eldritch said he would make it if it was there. :thumbup. Is it going to be a day ride or overnighter, assuming there probably wouldn't be a need if cloverdale is the objective. That means I can make it home for fireworks with the family :banana

Hope to see some of y'all the third as well.

Mikey can I bring Woody?:confused
