trailer size for 2 bikes

I'm almost certain I'll just be tracking the 250 this time. :(

You have my condolences... If I were you, and could only bring one bike, I'd bring the 675. Any particular reason you're sticking with the 250?

Yeah...I've put in over a grand in suspension, brake, and tire upgrade to track it. At this point...I'm forcing myself to track it. :cry. Besides...my first track day....don't want to tempt myself into doing something squirelly. :p

Well, you know my opinion on the 250. Since you've spent $560 on the school, why not take the bike that's going to give you the most enjoyment, the largest safety margin, and the most room to improve? Not to mention the ability to ride at a pace that won't have you getting lapped by 10-15 people every time around the track :teeth There will be plenty of track days for the 250 to attend in the future...

Seriously, though, you should take the bike you're most comfortable riding. If it's a toss-up, however, I'd lean toward the 675. More power, yes, but also bigger tires, better brakes, and a larger margin for error in most cases.

Hold on. The 675 might be back in play. Might've figured out a way to haul the bike up there. So much drama. :p

Part of me wants to track the 250. It's a completely different bike with the upgrades and I would love to bring it out on a track for at least a day. And I know how you feel about the stock 250 but you should check out the upgraded version. It's pretty plush. Most of my problems have been eliminated with the upgrades.

Also, It might be a perfect first day bike since it forces me to be real smooth with the clutch and brakes while I learn the track. I'm still trying to eliminate the wheelhop on quick downshifts of 2+. :blush

But you know I'm dying to track the 675. And I know you're dying for me to do it too. :)

By the looks of things, there's very good chance it will make it there.
