I injured my right foot in a sparring class and went to my doctor who checked it out and diagnosed it as a big toe sprain. Can't remember the name of the actual injury but it is the opposite of turf toe. He gave me some Traumeel to rub into my foot for 2 weeks and wanted to report back to him after the treatment.

I have been using it for 2 days and so far the pain is going away but I read up on the stuff and its a 50/50 split on whether or not it works. Have you used it and if so did it work for you?

I believe the big controversy around this stuff is that it is homeopathic and a lot of doctors think that stuff is crazy talk. Indians have been using this stuff before we heard of it and mountain goats have been seen eating the Arnica plant (active ingredient) after taking a fall off the side of a mountain.

back in the 90s I sprained my left ankle in Berkeley, watching some girls nice round ass and not where is stepping. I hobbled over to Karnak and bought some arnica gel and rubbed it into my ankle real good, it seemed to help. Of course just massaging an injuiry promotes blood flow and thus healing.

I use a similar product called Sports Gel and it works pretty well. Inflammation goes from painful to annoying overnight in most cases.

I like it, great stuff after self-defense classes.
Who knows if that crazy homeopathic shit works, it certainly doesn't meet the standard of western science.

But I do remember using a course of homeopathic remedies long ago on a horse I had who injured himself (poor dumbass flipped over backwards and broke his tail). The regular vet gave up on him, said he'd never move his tail again, but the homeopathic vet came over and did acupuncture, gave me some noxious stuff to feed the horse, some arnica lotion, and a set of exercises to do with his tail. I felt, and must've looked, like a loon rubbing lotion on the horse's tail and doing little rotations with it. Hell, I think the horse himself thought it pretty odd. But he recovered full tail motion, and animals aren't really subject to a placebo effect, so that's something.

That stuff is awesome. Used it on 3 day old road rash mixed with emu oil. Looked 10X better overnight. Helped heaps preventing too much scarring also.

Day three and I am already able to sit on my feet again. I haven't been able to do that for at least a month. Crazy stuff!

I'm a big fan of homeopathic/herbal remedies, been studying it for years. In many instances, I have better results with the herbal approach than Western Medicine. Also, in a lot of European countries, the doctors utilize a lot of homeopathic and herbal remedies, because the drug manufacturers don't have the influence there that they do here.
